What it is
A three-season down bag rated to −6 °C comfort. Standard construction otherwise, with one difference that matters: the footbox baffle opens.
Why the baffle opens
Down migrates and clumps. In a sealed bag there is nothing you can do about it. Ours has an access baffle so down can be redistributed, topped up, or fully replaced by a repairer when the loft finally goes. That turns a five-year product into a fifteen-year one.
Honest limits
Down is still down. Get it soaked and it is a wet blanket until it dries. If you are going somewhere consistently wet, buy synthetic and we will tell you the same thing on the phone.
